Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026. This policy explains how TEEC Ltd collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the Ignited Platform website.

1. Who we are

The Ignited Platform website (ignitedplatform.com) is operated by TEEC Ltd (“TEEC”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, based in Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom. TEEC Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: getintouch@teec.co.uk or +44 (1635) 282361.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information in three ways:

  • Information you give us. When you send an enquiry or join a product waitlist we collect your name, work email address, company, phone number (optional), your message, and which products interest you.
  • Information collected automatically. Our servers record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage statistics via Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are off until you opt in, in every region.

3. Why we use it and our lawful bases

  • To respond to your enquiry or waitlist request — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (UK/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To secure and operate the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics and marketing measurement — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR reg. 6). You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
  • To contact you about products you registered interest in — legitimate interest / consent, with an opt-out in every message.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions: our hosting provider (servers located in the UK/EEA), our email provider, Cloudflare (form abuse prevention via Turnstile) and, where you have consented, Google (analytics). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

5. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy regulations or the applicable standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry and waitlist submissions: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Cookie consent records: 180 days (your choice is then asked again).

7. Your rights

UK and EU (GDPR): you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests; you may withdraw consent at any time; and you may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

California and other US states (CCPA/CPRA and similar): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA; nonetheless we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out, and you can use “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer to set your preferences. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Canada (PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25): you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent, and may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Australia (Privacy Act 1988, APPs) and New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020): you may request access to and correction of your personal information, and may complain to the OAIC or the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.

To exercise any right, email getintouch@teec.co.uk. We respond within one month (GDPR) or the timeframe your local law requires, and we may need to verify your identity first.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), access is restricted to authorised staff, and form submissions are protected against abuse. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.

9. Children

This website is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

10. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
